This is probably the largest core update ever that Google has made public. Google needs 52 days to update algorithms and synchronize data.
This update involves refining some of Google’s core ranking systems to help it better understand if webpages are unhelpful, have a poor user experience, or feel like they were created for search engines instead of people. This could include sites created primarily to match very specific search queries.
When the update notification is completed, Google’s data may not be stable. You can submit a form to the Google team to review the rankings (this form will close on May 31, 2024).
Google has also updated Debugging drops in the Google Search traffic help page here.
The update has been completed, but it will take Google a few weeks for it to be stable. Below are some responses from AffiliateCMS.com community members:
- SEO landing pages are categories of stores that have lost rankings
- High keyword rankings deindex and drop
- Content is not the same as the main niche of the website
Yesterday, on the last update day, community members responded that their rankings dropped even though they were at the top.
